Acupuncture Treatment

Following an intake interview, an acupuncture treatment will be given which may utilize a variety of acupuncture styles - including TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Japanese acupuncture, or Tan-style acupuncture.  The style will depend on the patient’s condition, preference, and time available.  The treatment may also include one or more of the following:  Chinese herbal prescription, nutritional/dietary information, therapeutic massage or shiatsu, cupping, or moxibustion. 

Herbal Consultation

Chinese herbal medicine can effectively treat many conditions (for more information please click on Herbal Medicine or Frequently Asked Questions) without the use of acupuncture.  After an intake interview, which may include nutritional/dietary information, an herbal formula will be prescribed and prepared. 

Shiatsu Japanese Massage

This relaxing acupressure-style treatment can address a variety of conditions - or just provide a relaxing massage – while balancing the body’s energetic pathways.  Please click on Shiatsu for more information on this technique.
